Itinerary

Begin your adventure on Mount Kilimanjaro with the 6-day Marangu Route, the classic trek that offers a unique blend of comfort, scenic beauty, and accessibility. Known as the "Coca-Cola" route for its relatively gentle ascent, this path takes you through lush rainforest, alpine meadows, and breathtaking high-altitude landscapes. Over six days, you’ll experience the incredible beauty of Africa’s highest peak while having time to acclimatize and enjoy the stunning surroundings. Each day brings a new adventure, and with your experienced guides and team, you're in for an unforgettable journey.

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and take a scenic transfer to your hotel in Moshi. Enjoy the serene atmosphere, meet your trekking guides, and discuss the exciting days ahead. Relax, rest, and make sure all your gear is ready for the journey that starts tomorrow.

After breakfast, drive to Marangu Gate (1,870m/6,135ft), where your climb officially begins. Hike through the beautiful rainforest, filled with towering trees and diverse wildlife. The trek takes about 4-5 hours, leading you to Mandara Hut (2,700m/8,858ft), where you will spend the night and enjoy the tranquility of the mountain.

Today, you'll hike up through alpine meadows to Horombo Hut (3,700m/12,136ft). The trek, which takes around 5-6 hours, offers spectacular views of the surrounding peaks. You'll be surrounded by vast fields of wildflowers, and the landscape begins to change as you gain altitude, offering a taste of the beauty that awaits you at higher elevations.
