Day 1 : Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park

8 Days Luxury Tanzania Safari package: You will be met by Tranquil Journeys staff for briefing abought your eight-day safari. Your Tour starts with the drive to Lake Manyara. Nestling at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park is recognized for its incredible beauty. You can see many game animals such as Buffalo, Elephant, Giraffe, Impala, hippo and others.Overnight at a public Campsite at Lake Manyara.

Day 2 : Lake Manyara - Serengeti National park

After breakfast, you start on your way to Serengeti National Park. After stopping for your picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) in Serengeti you will continue further into the park and go on a game drive. Overnight at Seronera Public Campsite at Central Serengeti.

Day 3 and 4: Serengeti National Park

Two days of game drives around Serengeti. Depending on the time of year and the migration of the herds you can expect to see wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes and many birds and other species. 2 x Overnight at Seronera Public Campsite at Central Serengeti.

Day 5 : Serengeti- Ngorongoro

Early morning game drive at Serengeti. After breakfast will proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and go for an afternoon a Nature Walk (depending on weather conditions) at the Northern Crater Rim of Ngorongoro Crater inhabited by buffaloes, elephants, baboons, monkeys and different species of birds. Escorted by a ranger or Maasai Guide you follow animal paths through dense.Overnight at Simba Public Campsite at Ngorongoro.

Day 6 : Ngorongoro Crater & Conservation Area

After breakfast, you will descend into the crater for a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater considered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000ft. high walls the Ngorongoro Crater has the highest wild animal density worldwide. Among the species are lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. You might expect to see the ‘Big Five’ in one day.Overnight at Simba Public Campsite at Ngorongoro.

Day 7 : Tarangire National Park

Your Tour continues with the drive to Tarangire, Tanzania’s third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah and up to six thousand elephants. Overnight at a public Campsite at Tarangire.

Day 8 : Tarangire – Arusha

After last early morning game drive, this being the eighth and final day of your 8 days safari you will return to Arusha with arrival early afternoon.
